In 1980 in the State I have lived in for 36 years, it was your choice to wear a seat belt, if you were an adult. Further, you could smoke cigarettes just about anywhere: now; you can basically smoke 40 feet away from anything, mostly. The more laws that are made for “your own good”; the less freedom you have. Not that seat belts and quitting smoking are not healthy things, but you have no choices in the treatment of your own body in this day and age. The cigarette of the past has become the cell phone of now. Some people died of smoking; as some people die of their cell phones by using them in inappropriate places; and then still perhaps, how do we know the long term effects of what cell phone use will do to us? Seems I remember just being happy to have a cordless phone in the 1990′s.

Our freedoms in America have been taken away slowly over the last 55 years of my life. It’s as though the government thinks we are too stupid to make a decision for ourselves, so they beat us to the punch—we learn nothing on our own via trial and error, and down the dumb slide of our slavery we go.

Our hope is our right to bear arms because most people I know have their arms; and they will use them to protect their families and homes, so I don’t think anyone around here will end up in a FEMA camp; but who knows, as we had an internment camp for Japanese Americans even here in the middle of nowhere during “those” Americans so called FEMA stay.

All you can do is try to weed out the what is real in the doublespeak, yell loudly over injustice; and realize, none of us have privacy anymore, so get use to it.

Never know. The people you meet could be your salvation before it is all over.

Any prez of any color could have done what he has already accomplished… mainly to raid the treasury… but it will take a black man or woman (possibly Latino/a) to get the 2nd phase of the job done.

And then they will be knocking on your and my front doors.
