A substantial movie. Showing courageous people, which are making a difference. It reminds me of the many rapes to 'paria's' in states like Madhya Pradesh. It's almost save in India to rape a woman from a lower cast. She will not go to the police, and if she does, they will do nothing. Then on HIV. This is spread out all over India specially by truckdrivers who are moving all over the country, catch up hiv along the way, and bring it to their wives. To make things more complex, there's a big hypocrise / taboe on sex in Inda. No sex for traditional marriage. So with whom can you have sex if or as long you are not married? and once you're married, ........many search sex elswhere. So there's a huge sexual need, and it goes easily into the dark. Because of this dark side of prostitution in India, there are not so many sex tourists going to India as far as I know, while Thailand receives 10 thousands of them each year. Wouw, that’s coming close.
