But really, the guy is very hard to empathize with: foul temper, completely dependent on mercy of other people, but he seems to think that he's in control and that they are acting out of fear of him. And the wife complements him perfectly to make sure that catastrophe is not avoided.
Very interesting story, I highly recommend it.

I was actually planing to eat cookies, but needless to say that no cookies were harmed during the watching of this video. I mean, it almost made me go on a diet. Almost! :)))<br

As a health care professional I see my hospitals and aged care facilities filling up with people who refuse to take care of themselves, people who do things to their bodies to ruin them, and then they cry out for sympathy as if they have had no choice here!. I have dealt with eating disorders on both ends before and can empathize with the mental disorder that is anorexia, bulimia and over eating. After all, they all stem from the same mental issues. The thing that sickened me the most was he smoked!!! With everything the health system done for this man, he was smoking after all that! And whats with the friends and family. If he was laying in bed cramping up with dope sickness, would they bring him a shot of heroine? They may as well, it would cost the rest of us alot less to treat

I watched 10 min of this and had to stop. Honestly have you ever concidered that for many many years and even now days, they are plenty of stores who do not have even medium sizes? I am a plus size ( some to blame on eating when I was depressed, some on a serious autoimmune disease I have). I am telling you, going to stores and not finding any clothing does not make me to want to loose weight.... it only makes me feel like a paraiah of society. That is racism. On the other hand What happened to you is not fair either. Stores should have all sizes, even in footwear!! THE POINT is to have a proper healthcare system to help you deal your helath issues for free, and an educational system to prevent you from all these damaging behaviour!! The states are not famous for neither!! Modern slaves, living the illusion of freedom!

I agree with you on paragraph 1 and 3 but the 2nd one??? Food kept the stress levels of a busy life down but kept my body big and made it more difficult to do anything at all. I then felt more bad on being a size 16 than having that drug effect, that I started a diet where I ate just 300 calories for each meal and eating just four times a day. I still had chocolates and junk food, I just didn't ate as much of it as I did before. I still feel bad and fat at size 6/8, but now I could walk without struggling so much, so that's a good thing. My story and experience is proof that food does have chemicals in it that causes one to go ..."Hmmm that feels good let me have more."

So right on. He has sh!t in his fingers... ewwww... gross! I can understand genetics playing a part on how we look and our body shape, but the kind of body shape showing in this documentary and sh!t under ones nails is the result of overeating poor quality food and being a nasty filthy person, not genetics.Look... I could see genetics, having children and aging playing a part in being 5 to 20 pounds overweight, but 80 - 100 pounds overweight isn't genetics, shouldn't be blamed on the kids or aging... it's the individual overeating junk food and not exercising. The most frustrating part of all this is that people such as myself who are eating healthy and exercising have to go cloth shopping and deal with vanity sizes. I have to try on four different pant sizes because of the vanity sizes in the stores is to accommodate fat people... which is why I sometimes call them selfish fat bitches who are ruining it for everyone (vanity sizing is their way of feeling better when actually its just a bandage on problem). Just the other day I brought a size 4 pants.... I know damn well I'm not a size 4, but it happened due to the fact that there are too many overweight and obese people. Instead of vanity size making me feel better... it made me feel worse, because I know its a lie and in truth I'm still a size 6/8. Shoot even the size small is more like a size medium. >_> Here is a crazy idea but possibly work... stores ought to kept the old sizes so more people would eat healthier and exercise more. If fat people don't buy the clothes, than they ought to consider losing the extra weight so they can wear them.Even at the end, I still hate this man and the way he treats his wife, who also needs to be on a strict diet. I find it hilarious how she points a finger at how big her husband is and doesn't consider to look in the mirror to see that she is huge herself. XD Pretty hypercritical of her.

I really despise this man. He gives overweight and obese people a bad name. Otherwise we would see obesity all over the world. Really, it's not a coincidence that obesity is rampant in developed countries where food is cheap, and can be delivered right to your front door.
This man, however, can't really be compared with most of us. He probably has some deep-rooted psychological problems and should see a psychiatrist because his weight will most likely not be fixed solely with gastric-bypass. Something made him eat that 15,000+ calories daily, and when he reached a certain limit, he just gave up. I mean, this man is bleeding from his hands, and is drowning in his own fluids... He needs to talk to someone to find his motivation to live life. He's not happy. No one at 1000+lbs is happy, how can you be happy when you can't even talk, or barely breathe.
It's such a number of factors which added to his weight gain... his wife is obese too. They need counseling because, that pastor is right, it's practically assisted-suicide. They all just watched as he kill himself, and even fed him the poison. Just watch, he'll blame everyone but himself; his parents, his wife, his genetics... This man needs help to help himself.

Obese people shouldn’t justify their weight gain and elephant appetite on genetics.
