so explain to me how the united states BUYS an island from britain.and the british dumps the people on mauritius in abandoned buildings. does the u.s. not have a conscience to make sure that those 2000 citizens are compensated and resettled property? oh but these are not white citizens of the falklands but black natives.

There isn’t a thing wrong with my spelling. You get exactly what I mean the way I’m writing it. I never write something I don’t mean.
Foreigners have problems with the US. I don’t! I make a decent living here and rarely complain. Drop the nationalism? How about if you quit blaming every evil deed on the US? So why don’t YOU tell me where freedom comes from? Is it free? Did your founding fathers accuire a nation with a handshake? Did they sell 1/2 of their natural resourses for a period of time? Did they stain their hands with blood from war?….what?

For a start learn to spell accurately… And to answer your point – Because you’re a walking example of what everybody is bashing! “I don’t give a flying rat’s a$$ if nobody agrees with me. I no what’s right”. The quote speaks for itself, I don’t think I could have concocted a more stereotypically (d*mb)American response if I’d tried. If you want people to stop insulting your country, BE the example; drop the nationalism, agree with the reasons why people have issues if the rational evidence is there and try your best to come across as logical, educated and as worldly as possible :P

EDIT: Just saw your “Where exactly do you think freedom comes from?” remark to davidbzm… Priceless ^^

Well, slicing me with some razor-sharp wit there mr.’ProudinUS’^

Firstly, I HAVE looked at my country’s own history, hence me saying I’m not proud of it… Only a d*mbsh*t patriot ignores the REAL state of their country and its actions to wave the flag in misguided arrogance. I despise nationalists and America happens to produce some of the more vocal ones.

Also, I DID move, I haven’t lived in England for two years and it was the best thing I ever did… In regard to my being of no great ‘loss’ to England, that would depend on your opinion of what constitutes societal value. :’)

Az, I understand what you’re saying and I know the history of the US. But unity in the US is slowly dying with the dawn of spoiled youth. You know as well as I do that passive nations will never last. Humans only understand aggression. I really am not for war…but I do know it’s the only language that’s universal.
I have roots in this country and am a 4th generation. My great grandpappi came over from Denmark to make a new life and prosper. I was born on US soil..my grown children were born on US soil..along with pop and peepop. I’m 100% purebred American and nothing more.

All I care about is when my son gets out of the military that he is treated with the respect all vets should get. There’s no disparity. You show me one and I’ll point their a$$ to the employment office…..IT IS THAT SIMPLE.(although I’ve had to take three weeks off because of my foot)

Remember Az, not all of our youth can be free spirits and let the wind take them where ever they blow. Our children need to know the reality that awaits them in the world (foreign n domestic) when it’s time for their generation to take charge of the piggy bank.

Your embarrassed to be American, huh? Where exactly do you think freedom comes from? Sure the US has done some hidious things along the way to get there. Like rob a nation of thriving indian cultures..the horrible practice of slavery…banned Pete Rose from the Hall of Fame! BUT WERE’RE STILL HERE! Safe and sound. Worry about your own people first. I gaurantee you people in other countries that talk trash about the US do. We need to stand by our nation and show a little gratitude for our lifestyles here….or you can run with the non-Americans on this board and bash it. (You don’t ever hear them trash their country do ya?) By the way I do feel for these people in the doc. That isn’t right.

The only people that are making a stink in the US are the ones that think the US gov owes them some sort of high paying job while at the same time blaming it.
If we look back in the early 80s when ‘Reaganomics’ was introduced it was a God send after that Carter clown dam near wrecked the place. Inflation was at a 60yr high and gas..oh boy..I can remember sitting in a Shell gas station for 4hrs waiting for pops to fill the truck. In those days in California they had green flags and red flag days. On green flag days the licences on your car had to end in an even #…Red opp. Carter all but dwindled our military and had a poor foreign affair policy in play. The country went through what we are now.
As soon as Reagan came in he lowered taxes, inflation and encouraged savings through his EconomicRecovery Tax in the early 80s. Created 16000000 new jobs and for once we never saw a war front during his term.
The US will get back on track because I see Romney falling in the same lines as Reagan. Hopefully Gindrich..but. But in the mean time we have to stick with it and keep going.
The reason I make the comments I do is to get the US to get back a little sense of pride and quit acting like somethin’s owed to ya. I don’t trust the gov either but I know their only there for show.
Would someone please give me a # on how many we’ved killed????
Would somebody please tell me the difference between a police action and a real US war?
Would someone explain what resources the US in just ‘TAKING’!

When a country becomes identified by the suffering it has caused to other countries it’s inhabitants will try to discard those realities while the neighbours will smear it in the face of the accused. This is always done by neighbours not realizing that their own history is smeared with similar blood at earlier time in history.
United States is the baby of the world, it is composed mainly of people who came to the new land. It is the blood of all countries that flows in the veins of US citizens. But those citizens have forgotten their origins and they have often boastered to be the best, the most, the grandest “aux quatres vents” while their government was the bully around the earth.
Before the US can transform the opinion the world has of it’s government, it’s own citizen will have to realize that the times are changing possibly more so for them then for others.
Within your country there is much disparity between the have and the have not, because the have have so much, but it is the have not that is growing in quatity.
