The truth is if You don’t make your life worth anything then it will be worthless. Regardless to what this film or the Zeitgeist says- start thinking. May the truth touch your mind ;)

moses time wasn’t the ram, it was the end of taurus, the golden calf? abaraham was the ram.
the way the christ could move thru his disciples is as energy, not a person. christ consciousness? you can feel it quite distinctly on shrooms.
jesus wasn’t ussuring in the age of aquarius, he was the age of pisces! now, 2000 years later, is aquarius.
this movie is so full of ignorance at only 15 minutes …

check your spelling before you post. people that cannot spell & then try to come off like they know what they are posting about sounds ignorant. the film (zeitgeist) was as close to fact as could be. Google sponsored the movie to the hilt – what, is there a Google conspiracy out there too…lol. “Sweeping generalizations” and the “ultraliberal” diatribe you sputter is nonsense. I am not ultra liberal & am a HUGE fan of Zeitgeist. The term liberal – look it up. It has nothing to do w faith or religious belief. It has to do with the distribution of politics, standing up for people’s freedoms (and no, not corporations as people ), money, and thats the VERY short definition of liberal. what ultra attached to the word liberal means is up for grabs. thats like saying something or someone is ultraneocon….lol

the glaring misconception you need not overlook is in your own words ” I would rather have been created by something greater, ” is your own mispreception. Its tragic that truth, most times, does not trump our own brainwashed cult of religion, or being created from a “higher power.” You have the right to stay completely duped into believing that you come from some magic person that allows tragedy & genocide, yet is the supreme being of love & joy. The same God that allows the worlds greediest hustlers to claim “Jesus” is on my side & that gives me the right to be as destructive as I want in the name of our Heavenly Father…..our understated simularities to the ape/monkey will stay unnoticed by all but the truth seekers, scientists, and people who thought landing on a distant moon is possible ( did you know that many US preachers prior to the US involvment to the moon landings thought it an abhorent idea – can you guess why? becuase it put the notion of the stars & planets – the space realm – in the hands of man – and that knocked a blow to religion & the concept of a all knowing, “higher” being – or God )
Someday soon, the people of Earth will concede that we are direct descendants of the African nation, they are direct descendant of the monkey / ape. All life starts in water. PERIOD. Why waste your time in a belief that states a good moral life will be rewarded in an afterlife? If you so desire thats fine, but why is ALL the Abraham religions designed like this? Why does Islam, Christianity & the Hebrew religions all reconize eachother (Abraham religions)? Is it because all three of these very different Gods are equal? WHAT – NO! Your God is supreme, right? Or is it that when these religions were introduced, and at times forced on to the peoples that lived thousands of years ago, would be relatively respected equally everywhere? Think about the tithing in all three religions….this is EXACTLY how these 3 religions became so unbeliebably POWERFUL! Taxes & tithing. I could go on on ….look up the story of Luther if you want to see just how offerings to the Catholic priests could absolve you of ANY sin…….. funny, I thought only God could do that – so did Luther. I am not pitching the Lutheran religion in any way, but many of the most educated biblical scholars through the ages realized that there are MAJOR loop holes & misconceptions in the bibles. The stories were to be taken as a way to seek balance to everyday stuggles in mans life…..kinda like a indepth self-help book.

Id like to find one christian that has never “questioned” their faith, or better yet one that felt like if they didn’t go church on Sunday they would be hunted down and dragged into the confession booth, I mean come on is religion any cruder than science? Is it not science that is responsible for the advancement of human warfare and killing on this earth? is the 200,000 people killed in the 200 year history of the crusades not comparable to the the 160,000 killed by the atom bombs the Americans dropped on Japan. Why Is it so shameful when a “christian” kills yet honorable when the word christian is removed?

They go more in depth with examples and religions and even explain where ‘Amen’ came from and noah’s arc and so on. I do believe people should be spiritual, but organized religion with never take you to your spiritual limits. Faith = submission without question = control over you. Control = Power. Power leads to corruption. Christianity in theory may not be corrupt. No, objective person can say that any organized religion to has not been without corruption, and many say it is today. Televangelists for example.

I would rather to have been created by something greater than I rather than to have been created by chance and evolved from a monkey. The real issue here is Organized religion and the fact that it segragates people. I am not branded, but that doesn not mean I dont beleive jesus existed! If I could meet just one person fact or fictional it would be jesus because he seems like a cool guy, all he wanted was for us to love one another…is that really so wrong????

Sorry but I agree with Bill to a certain extent. Its not Christianity but organised religions in general trying to tell us and in some historical cases forcing us to believe something we in fact believe to be tripe. Instead of urging people to find their own interpretation of who or what God is. If you give people only three choices and they don’t believe either one they will choose not believe at all. Its not science, their are many Christian scientists, Muslim scientists, and Jewish bankers err I mean scientists.

Their used to be two Jehovah’s witnesses that would come to my door regularly trying to spread their faith. I wouldn’t turn them away cause I kinda saw them as a play thing. I would engage them in philosophical debate about spirituality that would drive them nuts. Time after time they’d come back because near the end of each discussion I’d hint that I might be open to attending their church. They would note this down only to come back when they realised I had attended. As soon as I told them I wouldn’t attend they stop coming back. They don’t care whether I’m religious, agnostic or atheist. They only care whether or not I would attend and donate to their church.

Pfft how could I be a Jehovah’s witness… I wasn’t even there.

This “documentary” is an insult to honesty, integrity and intelligence. The makers of this film stretch the truth, twist the facts, and in some cases downright lie. I’ve asked my students to watch this film as an example of religious propaganda in its most sordid, and ridiculous, form. The makers of this film are clearly desperate to twist reality into what they want to, need to believe. Please, watch this film, take notes, then do some basic research. Every argument they make is easily proven to be nonsense. Don’t take anyone’s word for it. See for yourself what silly, desperate, deluded trash this film is.
